How teens can be radicalised by internet subcultures such as Incels or Andrew Tate - a 2 hour, fully-resourced, detailed and differentiated PSHE / Internet Safety lesson, created specifically for the new PSHE + RSE 2020-24 guidelines (countering bigotry and extremism). The lesson covers the differences between the harmless subcultures such as Bronies and Otherkin and the far more dangerous subcultures, coming from extreme religious or political sites like 8Chan or Stormfront, such as Incels, and White Nationalists. This lesson is best suited to KS4 / KS5.

An hour-long 2024, KS3 (or could be used with KS4) lesson with a focus on eating disorders, misconceptions and links to mental health. The lesson is sensitively planned, so gives no information on how sufferers perpetuate their disorders, but clearly signposts how friends can alert authorities (teachers/guardians) appropriately if they are concerned and where we can go for further information. The lesson also shares NHS advice on how we can support people suffering from eating disorders, as well as why EDs often affect people in their teenage years. Students will complete paired tasks, literacy and clip tasks, creative tasks and more.

Plastic and pollution KS1 PSHE lesson.

A two hour, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about making responsible personal hygiene and health choices. This lesson covers vaccinations, blood and organ donation, stem cell research and personal hygiene. Students will investigate the importance of all of these factors for both preventing the spread of disease and treating illnesses in others. They will also exam the moral implications behind ideas such as stem cell research and learn a bit about the science behind these too (although this is not a science lesson, it is a PSHE lesson).
